Identity, contact and payment, all in order

Magic Planet verifies three things during registration: who you are, how to reach you and which payment method is yours. Identity goes through Bank ID or Czech Point. Your phone number and e-mail address are confirmed with a return SMS and e-mail. Your bank account or payment card must be in your name and verified, and you can switch to another method later after verifying that one too. Bank ID can confirm your personal details and your bank account together, and a payment card is verified separately.

Czech Point, step by step

When Bank ID is unavailable at your bank, go to a Czech Point branch and bring an ID card, a passport or a driving licence. Say that you want to verify your identity for MP on-line, s.r.o., Na krčské stráni 712/72, Prague 4. The branch issues an identification document, you send it to Magic Planet by e-mail, and your identity is approved the same day. The branch fee is CZK 200.

Declarations during registration

The registration asks you to be over 18, to hold permanent residence in the Czech Republic, confirmed by a quick check in the central registers. It also asks you to set or decline the self-limiting measures, to state the origin of your funds and to say whether you are a politically exposed person. These steps keep the account safe, and they complete in a few minutes next to the identity check.

Payment methods after verification

Once verified, you can use one payment method at a time as your active method, and you can change it freely after verifying the new bank account or card.
